Crunch2 located at 10 Canal Street between Via Fossa and View has been snapped up by newcomers to the gay Village bringing with them years of experience and know-how.
New owners bring with them their philosophy of making a good night out cheap and cheerful. In 2009 a refit to the entire bar is planned to better suit the Manchester Gay Market.
Open until 2am every night.

Manto is possibly the most famous gay bar on Canal Street. Set over 3 floors and after a number of changes since it's opening in 1990, it's still the place to be and be seen.
The Manto front balcony features at the very beginning of the first episode of Queer as Folk. Manto reopened on the 28th November 2008 after a major refit.
